I was born and brought up in a suburban community of Toronto and at a very young age, was introduced to bharatanatyam (a classical dance form of Southern India). Bharatanatyam is a beautiful art form where, melody and rhythm exist in perfect harmony. It is the performer's role to incorporate the dance story into an unruffled harmony. I began to practice it intensely around the age of 12 and soon, dance became my whole life. Upon graduation, I immediately saturated myself into the pursuit of dance and even went on dance tours of India.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of dance for me is the music. I love to sing! Eventually, I received training in Carnatic vocal (a classical form from South India), but moved to Hindustani classical as I felt a greater connection to it. Presently, I am continuing my education in this form of singing and enjoy singing devotional songs.

Professionally, I followed my passion for beauty and started my own business in the beauty industry (www.neenakganti.com). I am a make-up and hair artist working in the areas of theatre, television, beauty and bridal. I love the transformational aspect of beauty and also the transformational aspect of being a spiritual aspirant.

Growing up, I was a devotee of Sathya Sai Baba and participated in the activities held by his centres in Toronto. During those years, I yearned for something deeper and realized that I needed a living Master in my life. Consciousness guided me and in 2004, I began attending satsangs held by Swami Sai Premananda. I was immediately mesmerized by Swamiji's charisma and joy. Under my Guru's guidance, I am growing, learning about loving God perfectly and more confident in my pursuit of enlightenment in this lifetime.
